Hello everyone,
I live in Bedford, Bedfordshire. I’m looking for some recommendations for guinea pig indoor boarding. Preferably with fleece?
Does anyone know of any nice places?
Much appreciated.

Hi!
Unfortunately our lovely boarding place near you closed for retirement last year.
We were lucky enough to find another, but they have also decided to retire at this end of this year.
I am really struggling to find anywhere else that would suit us and our guinea pigs.
If you should find somewhere, perhaps you would be happy to let us know too! 😀

You could ask your vet. They may know.
I don’t know Bedfordshire and without a map in front of me I have no idea how far away you are from Northampton.
Debbie at TEAS also does boarding if that’s a possibility.

I live in the wrong part of the country to help any more

Thank you. It’s so hard to find someone that does fleece bedding. I have found someone near Cambridge that does it. And it looks outstanding. They are going this year to Northampton hop, skip and bunny but they are closing end of year. The one for next year in Cambridge is called tiny paws the guinea pig groomer. Hope this helps.

Just putting this out there…..
Should we be meeting up & then perhaps taking turns for holiday care?

(We currently have two boys who live as neighbours)

I used guinea pig rescue and rehome in Dunstable back in January. Kate works for the RSPCA and also runs a rescue, but she does boarding too. The pigs are on sawdust if I remember rightly. Pictured is my pig Cookie, who I adopted from her nearly three years ago.

Glad you've found somewhere reasonably close to use. If you're already going to Northampton though, as well as Debbie at TEAS, there is Skittering Pig boarding, which I've used, though I don't know offhand if they use fleece.

Thank you. Kate is a good friend of mine. For the last 8 years we have had rescue pigs from her. But my boar is allergic now to shavings. We have found tiny paws in Huntingdon. It’s exactly what I’m looking for. Thank you.

Thank you. Have found tiny paws in Huntingdon. All bedded on fleece. Exactly what I’m looking for. Visited yesterday and I’m very pleased my pigs will love it there. 😊

Hello,
