First of all I thought I'd try cutting long strips of plastic from an empty 2L lemonade bottle, but once I'd cut it down they were too flimsy. I ended up cutting strips from the back cover of a plastic folder which I use to keep my car documents in! I figured it didn't really need a back cover and it worked perfectly. That's really cute! How do you keep the ends open?
It took me ages to work out (I'm not a natural at this!), but I worked out the total size that I'd need and doubled it so it's folded over and the 3 plastic strips (about the width of a ruler, one at each end and one in the middle) are sewn into it between the two layers. Fixed it to the ramp with velcro at each end. So far, so good... You'll have to post your version if you make one - would love to see it!And you just sewed them into the tunnel edges?.... I'm definitely going to have to try this!
