i went out this morning to feed my guinea pigs. i had chopped up a mini pumpkin for them as a change. i didnt think they would like it as my boys and girls only really like the normal veggies and fruits.eg. carrot,celery,cucumber,apple ect. i have tried before on feeding them something different.eg.kiwi,melon,orange. they never touch anything different.(apart from my boy russell.) so i put the pumpkin in and to my suprise they absoloutly loved it!!
have any of you tried your piggies on pumkin?
 
Piggies can eat the same parts of edible pumpkins and marrows as humans, but it is rather a matter of individual taste whether they like it!
 
they can be quite fussy! hey does anyone know about giving piggies potato pealings? as we were just preparing a casserole and we had potato pealings left over and dad said about giving them to my boys and girls. wondering for next time can i give potato pealings to them?
(sorry if any wrong spelling)
what sort of things do you give your piggies?

As far as I know, raw potato is poisonous to piggies
 
I gave my piggies some of the inside of the the pumpkin and they gobbled it right up! I was surprised because usually they are afraid of new foods - silly piglets!:p
