My guinea pig has rapidly changed this evening, this morning she was fine, eating, moving around and normal behaviour. This evening when it came to giving veggies she was uninterested and looked like she was pulsating and only be described as having hiccups. He breathing is quite shallow. It's just came out of no where and I'm really concerned.

Unfortunately anything to do with breathing is a veterinary emergency. Does your vet provide emergency coverage? Is there an emergency vet in your area? A vet experienced with guinea pigs is obviously your best bet, but in a pinch any consultation is better than none.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this, unexpected illness always seems to strike on weekends/holidays. I hope you can find a vet to consult with you and your piggie is okay!

I’m so sorry to hear this.

How is he this morning?

Please see an emergency vet immediately for a breathing issue.

I feel absolutely awful i haven't got the transport to an emergency vet and I also don't have the money I really can't afford it I have no way of getting it.
I've spoke to a rescue and they have gave me advice, I'm hoping he holds on so I can make it to a vet tomorrow
