Pretty Patsy appears to be in pain.

i hope youare ok @Betsy.
Yes I'm fine thanks @eileen although a bit tired. I didn't sleep well last night (football had nothing to do it - to me it's a pointless game!) and had to do an 80 mile round trip this morning and then take Patsy to the vet this afternoon. Early night me thinks!

Oh Patsy, you little granny! Hope she’ll be more comfortable now <3

This made me realise I should definitely be more thorough during our weekly check-ups. So far the girls have been wonderful in giving me hints when something is amiss - they become super affectionate when one is poorly, but I also need to know what signs to look for as they get older. Thank you for that!

Lovely to here it’s nothing serious and enjoy your Metacam little Patsy x

I’m relieved to hear it’s something that can be treated with Metacam.

Patsy has old lady arthritis and needs the same dose of Metacam as Meg (0.3ml twice a day). I'll have to give Patsy her's first as she is a little whatsit and tries to nick Meg's if I give Meg her dose first. I may have to separate them to make sure Patsy and Meg get the correct doses. I'll see how it goes.
I have to give their doses at the same time or else Patsy nicks Meg's. She is such a cheeky girly! Well Patsy gets her Metacam just before Meg.

Thanks Vicki so am I! I have a 180ml bottle arriving tomorrow. When I saw Rachel with Meg earlier in the week, I told her *cough* that was the only size I could get as I know there have been problems with it. Rachel is so lovely she gave me a prescription for it straight away and put 1 repeat on it too!
