I’m far from certain about this, but is he drooling? I haven’t seen him drink from his bottle.
I’ve read that this can be caused by overgrown incisors.
They do have a slant. He hasn’t been eating hay for a while, so it is not surprising.Drooling caused by not being able to swallow properly which can be any number of mouth problems, not specifically just incisors
His incisors - and it may just be because of the angle in the picture - but it looks like his incisors might have a slant on them. Slanted incisors can indicate that the problem is actually the molars

He is losing weight though. Despite our best efforts, he is still losing weight. He is pooping and peeing, so that’s good I guess. We’re calling different vets to try getting someone *somewhat* experienced in the field.
How much weight is he losing?
How much critical care are you getting into him each day?
Me and my mother were very stressed this morning. He was at 1015 grams when we weighed him. We called every bunny specialized vet we could find. We were almost out of options, but we found one that was 10 minutes away with someone who is good enough. She checked our little baby boy and presumably found the cause:
It turns out that his jaw is misaligned. We call it “underbid” (underbite, his jaw is too far back, misaligning his teeth. I’m not sure what it’s called in English)
This, along with his slanted teeth, caused him to be in considerable pain because he couldn’t close his mouth. Pelle, our beloved furball, began screaming when the vet pressed him by the jaw. He’ll be getting his incisors trimmed tomorrow.
The vet told us that we need to feed him 2 ml of critical care every 1,5 hours in the hours 7:00-22:00. In hindsight, I should have asked why that specifically, but that can’t be helped now.
This means that he will be eating 22ml of critical care. We might try to push down more.
It looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel now. I can’t wait to catch up on sleep![]()
