Thanks, everyone. It wasn't really unexpected after Monday, just quite sudden. The adoption agreements were never finalised, so the RSPCA has had to authorise it and sort out her funeral arrangements, so I won't be able to say goodbye properly. I spent the morning before her appointment giving her lots of cuddles and kisses, so I'm thankful for the time we had.
 
I’ve only just seen your thread Heather. I’m so shocked & sorry. Poor girl. But at least she had a fabulous time with you. I just wish it could have been longer x
 
So sorry to hear this, sending many hugs, what an emotional rollercoaster you must have been through in such a short time :(
She had a wonderful time with you though, you made her last days and memories super happy for her x

You gave Apricot a wonderful last few months of love and care.
Be kind and gentle with yourself as you grieve for her.
 
I am so sorry you’ve lost Apricot, she was a beautiful little lady. You must be gutted, but you gave her a lovely few months of sunshine and happiness x
