piggie passed away

Hi everyone

We have sadly lost our piggie recently, he was so playfull and no signs of illness, we found him laid on his side and his legs kicking in the air, we tried to comfort him as much as we could but he passed about 5 minutes later which seemed a life time, i am feeling guilty thinking what could i of done differently and really struggling with it all. i know he will be happy over rainbow bridge.

I am so sorry for your loss Please do not blame yourself, guinea pigs hide their illnesses very well and can sadly pass away from heart attacks or strokes at anytime (((hugs)))

I’m so sorry your piggy has crossed over the rainbow bridge.

Please don’t blame yourself. Piggies hide their illnesses so well or there may not have been any signs at all. Once he was kicking his feet he would not have been aware of his surroundings so he would not have been in any pain. It’s hard to witness it though (I’ve been there).

He passed surrounded by your love.
