@Tim far to technical - I use a borrowed automatic camera, it's black!
Probably why my photos aren't that great!

You can still get good photos with a basic camera. I have a fancy DSLR camera now and I am starting a pet photography business but thats not where I started. Back in 2006 I got my first point and shoot camera and have been practicing ever since. I look over my photos and I can see how much better my photos are now than when I started. Keep at it.
