Ooo thats a brilliant use of materiels, may i save some of your photos? I would love to make an indoor set up when me and my OH move next year and I really need insperation on what to use and this is fantastic. Very lucky piggies :))

Wow very good and the size difference is amazing, i bet your girls love all that space. The door looks like the perfect size and great job you done! I would have never have thought of using an old door.

You have one unique cage. :))

That's a brilliant idea:(|) wish I had the room for something like that mind you I think my dog would be in there aswell, I caught him in the outside run earlier on in the year.

Very impressive and an inspiration to us all ...... now where's that old door :))

Brilliant use of recycling materials to make a truely fantastic home for your Guineas. Thank you so much for sharing I will be using some of those ideas myself in the future.

Fantastic cage setup. good luck with your girls hopefully it is phantom and she will pee a lot and it'll all be ok :) :)

WOW, you've done an excellent job on their new home. I am very impressed indeed and so is my hubby too. ;) Good luck with your little ones, keep us updated.

Beth xx

the reason i posted it was because the op, didnt know the risks and the last thing she didnt want was a dead guinea pig, so its farr better to know what can happen so its something she is a aware of and can know the signs ...

hope everything goes ok !

nice work just wondering if the table cloth is glued on the door when it gets peed on how do you clean it?

it is a vynal (sp) table cloth which is fantastic as it is thick and wipe clean.

my girls use their corner potties to do most of they toileting in and have extra layers of newspaper in their sleep area so the table cloth does not get wet and I clean it out every few days with Deep Clean pet stuff too.

if you use table cloth make sure you get the thicker more expensive wipe clean rather than fabric or thinner types.

I absolutely love what you have done - it looks so cheerful!

I agree as I have used the thinner in the shed and it needs replacing - going to replace with correx. Wish I'd found thicker ones.
