Photo's And Updates For Peanut And Kiko!

Umm.. has anyone ever had a Guinea Pig jump from about a 1m (3ft) distance to the ground?
:soz:Because Peanut just did. I was clipping her nails and she moved away and jumped right off of my desk! I'm worried that she might be hurt. She seems fine, no injuries, that I have seen. But I am really worried!
Oh I'm such a terrible piggy mum. :(:coat::mal::bye::no::doh::hb::yikes::evil::eek::td::soz:
Please help me...

I would definitely keep an eye on her for now, a vet visit is never a bad idea just in case. Poor girl. Have you set her on the floor so you could watch her walking?

You aren't a bad mum, things like this just happen sometimes. Try not to beat yourself up to much about it. :hug:I can tell they are very much loved. Perhaps you could sit on a couch or the floor next time just in case? ;)

Such cuuute piggies you have, I love all the photos!

Oh I’m sorry, I’ve only just spotted this, is she ok? We’ve had our piggies leap down about 60cm before and one leapt from my mum’s arms but went into the Xmas tree which cushioned the fall. Both times piggies were luckily ok.
Poor Peanut, paws crossed she is ok xx

These things happen and it doesn't mean you are a bad piggy Mum. It's obvious that your Piggies are very much loved.

As the others have said- just keep an eye on her.
Go to the vet if you’re worried otherwise give her (&yourself) time to get over the shock.

Part of what piggies do is worry us - I’m convinced it’s in their DNA

She doesn't seem injured. She is being her usual self. Popcorning and everything. I think she should be okay. I get worried over everything, even the slightest sneeze. Thanks for the advice.

I'll be waiting with a stick of dynamite, my magical unicorn for escape, and my piggos in hand. Tryyyyy mmmmeeeee :sly:
Ooooooh go on then, I’ll try you!
Put them up, pew pew pew! :box: :)) x
