Percy-Roo is very sick- astma attack and increased heart rate...

Percy-Roo is possibly a little better today....his breathing is much calmer however he's still putting all his body weight into breathing - rocking back and forth in time with ever breathe in and out - his rattle and 'huh huh' is quieter. I don't know if this is a good sign or not or hes just becoming exhausted.

Phoned the vets and they told me for now until his appoin. just to keep an eye on him and if he deteriots quickly bring him in.

Sorry I'm writing out short replies it wont let me post big long replies I'm not too sure why.



The vet is amazing, a lovely lovely lady! I can now see why the RSPCA recommended this vet practice to me. If shes unsure on something she'll go away to consult other vets. (in this case for example)

Also again to pebbles/ or a member who might know (hopefully this will work) should i feed him during the night?


And currently he's only taking 6ml of cc every three hours is this too little/too much?

Have been thinking about you and Percy-Roo all day at work - shed tears of joy to see he's a bit better, all piggies on here play on my mind when they're not well rolleyes

I'm really sorry to tell you all in case you haven't seen the rainbow thread he's passed away today.

It was quite distressing actually. His eyes were still open but his jaw was unusually wide open and there was this huge thick white gunk that we couldnt seem to shift and it was all the way back. He was lying on his side though so we dont know if hes choked or passed away in his sleep and this has come up.

:( I'm devestated and missing him sooooo much.

Oh no :( I am so sorry to hear this 8...

I no it isn't the same thing but I lost one of my two gerbils Den today too :( There will be two shining stars in the sky tonight x

Ohhh claire I'm so sorry to hear about your gerbils rest in peace little ones, the sky will certainly be bright tonight all those loved beautiful stars!
 
I'm so so sorry, R.I.P percy-roo you beautiful little boy <3
With my degu who had fluid on her lungs, she passed and then the white stuff came up due to the muscles relaxing. I believe Percy passed peacefully in his sleep.
He was such a gorgeous, cheeky boy.

Thank you hun i thought he'd had passed then the fluid came out. Thank you for making me feel a little better about this sad situation really missing him x
 
Oh my goodness Audioheart, I am so very sorry to hear he lost the battle. You are a wonderful pig mum and he was so lucky to have you. RIP sweet pig.

8... this has made me feel so so sad. I really loved P-Roo too (despite never meeting him) he was such a sweet little piggy. At least he had a great life with you Laura and his wife pig Tabby. Hugs, rest in peace beautiful P-Roo x
 
Whee too loved Percy-Roo and felt that whee knew him x)
I remember him joining the adventures ........... all paws were crossed that he'd bond but it just wasn't meant to be. Then wifey M-Moo when she left whee were worried for him, then he really fell totally in love with his darling Tabitha x)
So so sorry love.........gutted for you. He was a real little trooper and tried so so hard !
Now back with his Maisie-Moo reunited forever.

Laura, I sobbed when I saw this this morning. After seeing him in the video you posted yesterday and seeing how poorly he was, I was praying that he would be ok. :0

He was one of my favorite forum piggies, I was so glad when you submitted his photo for the forum calendar.

I can imagine how devastated you all are :(

I just logged on to check on Percyroo as I was reading about him last week. I'm SO SO sorry for your loss, he was a beautiful boy. RIP special boy Xx
 
I'd been following this too. I'm so sorry to hear about Percy-Roo. Big hugs to you, you really were a fab mum to him x
