Hey everyone

Pepper wanted me to post on here asking if anyone knows of any baby male piggies looking for a new home/friend very soon. He’d really like a baby to love as he likes to think he is the boss. Percy used to “let him” believe this. He doesn’t want to replace Percy as he really loved him but he’s young and doesn’t want to be alone for long.

Aw Pepper, you gorgeous boy. Percy will never be replaced and will always hold a special place in your heart but I think a baby boy would be good for you.

I don't know of any personally but good luck with your search x
 
Pepper, you have a lot of piggy love to share so I hope you find a lovely companion soon.

Have you tried any of the rescues - I know there aren’t many easily accessible in Wiltshire though.

Maybe you vet knows of some piggies who need rehoming
 
Yes. I’ve had a look and you’re right there’s none around here. I’ve had a look at the Blue Cross at Burford. Oxford way. But no babies. I’ll call them to see if they have any in the pipeline so to speak. Good idea about the vets. I’ll give them a call too.
 
When Titus died Merab was desperate for some companionship.
This was a number of years ago before I joined the forum.
I couldn’t find a rescue within 25 miles of me so in desperation I went to Pet’s Corner in Thatcham.
They are much more responsible about caring for the animals than PAH.
Merab’s need outweighed anything else
 
We have a pets corner in Swindon but they don’t sell any animals. We have a small pet shop called Paradise Pets. It’s a small family run shop. They definitely have piggies. I’ll go and speak to them too.

I know Paradise Pets in Swindon but don’t know anything about the animals.
I went to Thatcham because the Swindon Pets Corner suggested I go there.

It seems Pets Corner don’t do single piggies anymore, even if you have one to bond with. I messaged them last month and that’s what they told me. I don’t know if it’s nationwide though.

Other place to try is RSPCA I’d you have the minimum space. Good luck Pepper, rooting for you.

PS does it have to be a young boar?

So today when I hopefully bring back a new friend for Pepper do I put Pepper in the bonding run first and then let him sniff the baby while I’m holding him or just place the baby straight in as well? I’m a bit nervous. It’s a big day. 🤞
