Ophelia and Bianca

Just had a lovely hour on piggy duty while mini-slave did a complete clean of the area. Ophelia might be nervous but she was the first to explore beyond the fleece area. They both looked at their mirror reflections too.

Middle slave usually gives in but it makes her more hesitant to come in, and sometimes she runs off before we have a chance to wheek again

Dear Ophelia and Bianca

I'm always here to help you. It is normal that Slaves come without food but it doesn't mean that its acceptable. Our Slave is well trained and whenever she comes into the garage she normally has some sort of tasty treat with her like breakfast pellets, a sprig of coriander, fresh hay, veggie dindins or our favourite supper of pea flakes and apple chunks after which we get our forage before she goes to bed. Daddy Slave is "The Bringer of Coriander" we quite like him. Although he is very tall (6 '5") and so he sometimes scares us if he moves too quickly but he can always win us round with Coriander.

Your Slave clearly needs more training! You must make sure that every time your Slave comes to visit you they have something tasty. If you are scatterfed then you must stare at her hungrily as if you haven't been fed for eleventy billion years. If you have food bowl, stand with your front paws on it and look at her beseechingly. She will think you are so cute she will give in and feed you.

Dear Miss Bramble,

Thank you for your reply. We usually accept scatterfeeding, but sometimes they have the cheek to give us hay. Hay? Are they blind? Just because this sort is called Timothy doesn't mean we can't tell that it is hay. We do accept Readigrass sometimes, but that's a rip-off. And pea flakes? We need pea flakes!
The hoomans complain that our poos are getting a bit moist and squishier but I often land in my water bowl when begging and I don't complain about it being wet.

It looks like we are doing the right thing, then. Keep manipulating our slaves.

The piggies don't like being touched, and Ophelia runs away with food, but they lack a sense of danger when it comes to us cleaning out. They walk or run around where we are stepping, and don't understand "can you please move so that I can clean out here or put this down?" No, they like to be where we are (which is sweet).

They're getting a big carrot cottage this evening :luv:
