Oliver the kitten has made friends with the piglets!

Little Oliver has been quite nervous of the piglets since he arrived on Tuesday. He would hear them wheeking and run away with his tail inbetween his legs!

I decided I would have the piglets on my lap, one at a time whilst Oliver was on the sofa. Jeff was first, it went very well. Oliver blinked at him affectionately, and licked his fur a little bit. Jeff looked a bit uncomfortable, so I put him back. Then I got Ed, who's the brave one! Ed sat on my lap, and Oliver just reached across with his paw to touch him, and then nuzzled into him and licked him. It was such a sweet moment, and Edward didn't really seem phased.

I would never leave the kitten and piglets out of their cage unattended together, but I am really glad Oliver seems to be accepting them. Bearing in mind that the piglets are bigger than he is, I think he knows he has to treat them with respect!
 
x)x) cute, what a gorgeous kitten and lovely piglets x) I think it's so sweet he is scared of them! My dad's dog is terrified of my rabbits :))

It's so lovely when your pets get along! Millie-dog (RIP) adored Sooty and Sweep (RIP) - they used to share a plate (which was weird, as the food was all vegetation, and Millie-dog was, as the name suggests, a dog).

Your kitten is super cute - how old is he? I've never seen a guinea pig bigger than a cat before :p
 
Aww that's so adorable!

When I first saw the pic I was like that's either one massive piggie or a tiny kitty lol.
