Oldest I have that I definitely know the age of, is Jasmine who is 5. I have an adopted sow who could be anything above the age of 6, she's an old girlie!

The oldest guinea pig on record was apparently 14 years old.

My oldest piggy was Pebbles who passed away at the age of 10 years and 2 months.

My OAP now is Cedric who was 9 in March.

My first two guinea pigs died in the last year, at the ages of 6 and 7. :) (The smilie face is because they were never sick and were really happy until the day they died.)

Our very first family piggy when I was a child back in seventies lived to nearly 10 years old. we'd had him from 4 weeks old.

My oldest guinea pig is 7, a ex-show and breeding sow. She was a crazy pig when I got her and hated others. She's mellowed in her old age. The other day she fell asleep, wedged between two young sows, on the grass. She has kidney failure and a large tumour on her breastbone but she's the most beautiful and delicate little piggy. I try hard to make sure every day is special for her :)

hehe, they never had any ilness at all. I always used to think that Abbies lived the longest but one of them was a peruvian
