Dental Not eating, loosing weight

Thank you. I'm still waiting to be added to the group. Its stresses me out.

Its over 5h by train with 1 change 😭 also I start new job on Tuesday, so I just wouldn't be able to do it. It's such a difficult time with the redundancies itp and I just can't say 'sorry I cant come to work' on Tuesday and Friday.

I really don't know what to do. I'm mentally exhausted and can't stop crying. I want to help her, but there is only so little I can do.

Don’t panic! There may be more offers of help.

leicester is fine ! any route on the m1 is ok,not too far north,as sheffield is 50 miles north of me.i hope this helps.xx

Unfortunately I'd need to take a train, so I need to keep looking because I would be a city centre. I'll give myself time to maxWednesday/Thursday, as I won't manage mentally any longer.

Update - Rudi saw Simon this morning and her teeth were very elongated. He has filed them all to the correct length. Simon says her mouth is nowhere near one of the worst that he has seen and he feels that with some regular dentals, she should do very well! This is great news! Rudi will see Simon again, a week on Friday, just before his holiday starts.

Aw this is great news, so pleased Simon has been able to see Rudi and get those teeth filed down x
We are coming up on Thursday for Ted and Mikey’s appt at 3.30 pm

Edit: @furryfriends (TEAS) we won’t be coming up to the C&R on Thursday. Mikey’s dad Kevin will be taking them up as they want Peaches seen as she’s a bit up and down. They usually slot her in between Ted and Mikey’s appointments but on this occasion she has to have her own appointment. Peaches is at 2.00 pm then Ted 3.30 and Mikey 4.00pm so a very long day for them all ☹️

Aww! Such a great news! My girl! 🥰. Pleade send me their photos of you have a chance x

Hi @TEAS . Any news on her latest vet visit? What did he say? I was wondering, did she put on weight? :luv:

Sorry, not on the forum much at the moment. Rudi is doing really well. She saw Simon again last Friday and had gained weight. Her teeth needed quite a tidy up, but it was done quickly and she is eating even better now. Simon was really pleased that she's gaining weight, as she is no longer being syringe fed at all.

What a remarkable recovery !to think PTS had been suggested.i think this is negligence, why do vets not own up and say ive not had much experience with dentals.Rudi is a character, full of fun and does not act as if she is 5 years old.thanks @furryfriends (TEAS) for taking on the care of Rudi and Whitey.

Rudi is the loudest piggy in the guinea pig log cabin! The minute she sees me she is straight up at the bars, to see what goodies I've brought in! She's got such a zest for life and yet she could so easily have been put to sleep! I just wish we could clone Simon and KIm and distribute them around the UK (or even the world) x

I wonder if I could write an official complain to her previous vet and try to get money back for the procedure, so I could transfer the money to TEAS.
