Thank you, it's really hard. Monday she sees her vet at 10.15 for an ultrasound. If the vet isn't 100% certain about there being a tumour, she will be scanned on Thursday by a specialist with a more advance ultrasound machine. If confirmed, they'd likely go ahead there and then with the spay. :-(Fingers very firmly crossed indeed. I completely believe you are doing the right thing, though I know it is hard to send one off to an op while still happy, knowing the chances of surviving the op are small.
What day is the appointment?
Will be thinking of you both, on both of those days.Thank you, it's really hard. Monday she sees her vet at 10.15 for an ultrasound. Keep going over and over it in my head but that's the reasoning I keep coming back to. Thank you xPaws crossed for Miss Fudge. Making the decision to go ahead with the operation could not have been easy but she's a tough little Minx.
It's one of those situations where you do nothing and watch her go. Or take a risk which might result in loosing her sooner but could also prolong her life if she pulls through. I've always been of the thought that it's better to try, and risk failure than to sit there and do nothing but regret the chance you missed.
