They are taped together with gorilla duct tape which sticks to anything really well

Yes, I use it on my C&C...and I'm almost out of a roll of the stuff.

If you have two joined together, how do you take them down or are they a permanent fixture now?

I have one of those runs, but it is folded away when not in use
