I’ve noticed my girls don’t eat their pellets anymore. They’re 6 years old and I give them Oxbow Garden Select Adult Guinea Pig Food. Do you have any tips to get them to start eating it again? Is there another kind of pellet that you’d recommend? Thank you in advance!

It doesn’t actually matter if they don’t eat them - they aren’t an important part of the diet - the only food they need is hay.
I don’t really feed pellets at all to mine - just 10 pellets each a week more as a treat

If you still want to feed them, you can try any pellet brand as it’s going to come down to personal preference and availability. I have added our comparison chart below - the latest version is on page 12.

I also feed Garden Select right now. It's a bit tough to get pigs to eat things that they've decided they don't want any more.
The most important thing pellets provide is a stable source of vitamin C, since GPs are like us and need it in their diet. I give mine each a half Oxbow Vitamin C supplement "cookie" every day and they look forward to that.
