New guinea pig

Sure?
i have 15 kilo

I’ve just done a quick google search on this product to confirm its details and it seems that it is a clump forming wood pellet. I would not use this for guinea pigs

I personally would not use it at all, not even for a month. The choice is yours if you want to use it, but I would not recommend it.

Cotton is ok?
and why you don't was?

I don't understand the problem....

Bedding made from paper is good. There is one for cats called biocatelet available here. But I don’t know if you have it there. Woodshavings are good. Horse bedding made from hemp is also another one - aubiose. Megazorb is another. I don’t know if you would find them there.

You can use fleece with puppy pads underneath. Or another absorbent layer. The wee then drains through the fleece and is absorbed underneath. Or newspaper with hay. Newspapers would need changing daily.

Clumping bedding isn’t ok because, if ingested, it can clump together and cause blockages, which can be fatal. Best to switch off of it now to prevent this. :)

Cotton is also unsafe because it can become entangled around limbs/teeth, causing a cut off of circulation or trouble eating. Or, similarly, can cause blockages as it cannot be broken down in the digestive tract.

I will switch next month.
It's a shame for me to throw 15 pounds in the trash

I didn't see me eating ...
A month later I would change.
By the way, why is it constantly crumbling like sand?

They could eat it at any time and have serious consequences to their health/life. We can only advise you that it isn’t safe for them to be put onto that type of litter.

It’s crumbling because that is what if is supposed to do as a product and is part of the reason why it isn’t safe to use it with guinea pigs.

It would be much safer and better for their health if you spread the hay around their cage instead of using that litter product

Okay, just a minute.
If I clean the entire substrate and temporarily (three days) put the hay in, is that okay?

Yes. Put down newspapers or puppy pads in the base. Then you can put in lots of hay.

You need to separate them - put the boy in a separate cage. And you need to get them a 120x60cm cage each.

I swapped!
I replaced a simple sawdust

sawdust is ok?
Sawdust is not ok. The fine particles can be inhaled and wreak havoc on the respiratory system. Imagine inhaling sawdust all day; that would not be very fun! :)

A4 printer paper should be ok provided it’s not bleached.

Everything I bought you say is not good ...

Which bedding do you recommend?
Please see the previous posts.

Yoav, will you please go get a good Guinea pig book to read up on ,there is alot to know about Guinea pigs, thank you ! And some people on here have give good advice to you and you not listening to them

I heard a lot of advice and spent hundreds of dollars and hours of work on it.
I'm just asking which bedding to use?
I really appreciate you, and I've used a lot of advice:
Buying a new cage - NIS 300
New food - NIS 50
New bedding - NIS 100
Cyrus - NIS 350

Just hay?
nothing else?
Every week to dump the hay and buy a new one?

And every week to throw the hay and replace?
Cotton down is okay?

Yes every few days the hay will need to be thrown away and replaced. They need to have fresh hay every single day.

They can have fleece blankets, but cotton won’t work. You still need an absorbent layer underneath the fleece blankets

Wow!
How many days to replace hay?
It's very expensive I can't afford it!
What other options are there?
