New dark mode.

I agree, a bigger font. And purple dark mode. I am also very visually challenged :)
 
I would also like to say I'd like a serif font, but a bigger font would help more people. So if it's a choice between two, go bigger.

Also, I have borders to the posts but they're harder to see. Again, not bother me - slightly more important is the occasional bit of grey font somewhere that could do with being a lighter grey, @PigglePuggle's signature is a prime example.

But there's also an issue in trying to @ someone. That's like half light and half dark mode except it's the wrong half of each.

Can you enlarge the the font by using Ctrl and + ?
It works for me even in dark mode to adjust the font to the size I need.
 
Phones should have a similar option too, have attached pics of the screens on my Samsung

Scrolling the mouse wheel allows for an increase and decrease in font size too. Still Ctrl + scroll.
 
It appears that altering my text size only makes what I type bigger, not what I'm reading! Maybe I'll have to just wear my glasses 🤓. I like the look of dark mode though.

I'm using the Samsung browser - bottom right of the screen are three lines (attached), then it's the text size setting in the first two pics 👍🏻

Nope still nothing! It seems as if I'll just have to keep to the TGPF bigger font in normal (as in not dark mode) and see if @MattW can work his magic and manage to make dark mode in Bigger Font.

Got anything like this in your phone's settings? It's under Display in mine, Samsung may have it elsewhere.

It affects the size of the font on everything though, it won't just affect it for one webpage, so it's a bit of a nuclear option.

Thank you. I made the font bigger, brilliant I didn't know I could do that! The black background is not for me though, it makes me feel dizzy.

One more thought - is it at the top of the page instead? I moved my stuff to the bottom of the page a while ago (it's not the default), maybe that moved too? Otherwise I'm out of ideas, I wonder where yours has gone!
 
I would also like to put in a request for someone to come over to my house and read the various threads out loud to me while I lay on the sofa eating chocolate.
Then if you could also type my replies, so I don't get chocolate on the keyboard, that would be perfect.

Taken me a while to figure it out, but I have learnt something this evening. Thank you.

I did not know TGPF could be purple or have bigger fonts. Quite like dark mode. I don’t like the no border thing going on, that puzzled me.
 
Loving the dark mode! I didn’t even realise there was a purple mode until now! It’s a lot easier on my dyslexic as brain, much easier to read 😂 thank you so much!
 
@BossHogg Name cards and the surrounding of replies etc is missing the definition it used to have, making everything blend in and harder to differentiate.

I’ve attached both pictures side by side as you can see in dark mode it is more defined, if you see what I mean.
