New Cage For Nimbus And Nargle

I put Nimbus and Nargle in their new cage today and thought I would share pictures with you all.

I still need more toys, boredom breakers etc. but this is what they have for now...

Just so you know, I did try to bond the two but they just didn't get on so I decided it would be best to separate them and house them like this for the time being.

I will be looking for younger boars to bond them with in the near future though :)

Both Nimbus and Nargle are from Harry Potter. Nimbus after the Nimbus 200 broomstick and Nargle after the creatures Luna Lovegood says steal her belongings.

My sister has seven guinea pigs and they all have Harry Potter related names too; Molly, Ginny, Tonks, Bellatrix, Willow, Chess and Luna :)
 
Nargle is a great name! Harry potter is a wonderful resource of silly names for piggys. I had one called Professor Sprout :)

I have sirius, ron, lupin, ginny, Hannah (abbot), Katie (bell), Lavender, Crookshanks, Hermione, Poppy. And I have 2yet to name haha.
 
Beautiful boys! The favourite 'toys' in my house are a paper bag (I rip the handles off so no-one gets stuck...) or a toilet roll tube stuffed with hay. Most of the shop bought things just get left alone. Sometimes even just plain paper scrunched up into a ball is fun to shove around and chew.

Hay is one of the best things though. It's great for burrowing, throwing around, digging in and of course eating ( it should be around 80% of a piggies diet)
