Needing some help - Cyst

Hi I’m looking for some advice I went to my vets last month as one ky boys has a cyst on his back i have just checked it like the vet said I should I have took a picture but it looks like his skin around the cyst is coming apart I have attached the picture I also had to move his hair so I could get a good picture of it.

The picture isn’t quite clear enough to see much.

Where on his body is the cyst?
(It looks like a back leg in the picture so is the cyst near his grease gland?)

What did the vet say they would do about the cyst when you were there last month?
Cysts can need to be surgically removed as a burst cyst often just keep refilling and causing a risk of infection.

Is he on painkillers?
 
My vet said to keep an eye on the cyst to see if it gets any bigger and that it should heal by its self also it is located on his rear end not sure if this picture is clearer I could try and get another picture of it.
