It occurred to me that I spent a great deal of time deliberating over the names for my piggys only to find I never use them.....

My boys are affectionately and commonly known as Roofus, Strubes, Table & Mish. None of which resemble their real names! It really makes me wonder if it was worth all the debates and brain strain of finding a name that suits them :)

(I can't spell - sorry about the thread title and daft edit function won't let me change it....)

Haha, the name Table made me giggle.

My piggies arrive this weekend hopefully, and i think i have picked out names... but i wanna see them in person before it is official

Yeah we always had ideas then promptly changed them when we met them! Table is so- called because when he was little he used to stand with his legs so far apart he looked like he had one at each corner so he looked like a table... His real name is Angus!

I spent so much time thinking of names too!

Noah is changed to just No Pig, or No Noah.
Nacho is Naughty, or Mr Pig.
Buddy is Buddlington Stanley On Toast (My Mum says it, don't ask!)
And Basil is Bazzle-Ma-Tazzle.

I always spend ages thinking of names but hardly use them! They get changed to the weirdest things! Have to say I think yours beat mine for different to what they are supposed to be!

Love the title :P

Toby is known as Potato or tobysaurus

Barney is Haggis

Alternatively we have 'the brown one' (toby) and 'the black one' (Barney) - this is usually if they have been naughty.

Jerry is known as 'Belly' (hence the username) and Frankie and Marley are collectively known as 'the babies' (despite now being 2 and a half years old!)

Mine generally still get their names....kind of.

Jeff has been extended to Jeffrey (or Jeff-wee!), Maggie is Maggie-doodle and cameo is often cammers - Mr and Mrs are just Mr and Mrs!

I do the same Tyrion has become Tizzy-Wizzy, Pippin is Pippy Pipsqueak, Ned is Neddy Noddle, Teddy was Teddy Teddlington Esquire least i'm not alone, my other half thinks i'm mad :))

my fizz is fizzypop ,and her and pebbles are the new ones, then salt and peppa are the babies and the others have their original names, sugar and spice although sugar is big butt sometimes

Hee hee, I think we're all guilty of it.
Rosie is Rosie-Roo and Mrs Whiskers
Olivia is Mouse and Livvy Lou
And Poppy is Pops, Squirrel and Teddybear
:)
