I would give her nice soft bedding and see how she does. Animals are quite adaptable and now that you know there is an issue you can keep a really close eye on her feet to head off any problems. The vet just might be trying to be realistic, but that sounds needlessly negative to me at this point in time! Best wishes to you and your sweet little piggie!

I would love to start a thread thing to keep you all up to date with sparkles but I’ve only just started this group so not to sure what I’m doing at the minute lol thankyou for telling me about the vet bed I’ve just ordered some I had not heard of that ☺️☺️ She really is so happy doing lots of popcorn jumping ☺️☺️

Hello! Just a tip, it best to start a new thread in the correct section if you have a new unrelated question. You'll get more answers that way 😉

You're right the iceberg lettuce has no nutritional value for guineas so best to avoid feeding that. You can find more advice about what to feed them in this guide:
Long Term Balanced General And Special Needs Guinea Pig Diets

Ok thanks where do I do a story thing for you to follow about the guinea pigs

Ah that's interesting! I'm glad it's not dangerous or anything :)
