My sons teacher has lost the plot

These young teachers come out of teacher training college thinking that all kids are fluffy ickle munchkins who's minds haven't set yet so are open to everything.

YEAH RIGHT

They are evil little gremlins who will rip anyone a bit different or singled out to pieces.
That teacher needs to come back to the real world and remember what kids were like when she was a kid and what the class would have done to a boy wearing a dress.

Is this teacher a mother herself?

I often ask that question about health visitors etc they think they know all the answers but in the real world they know F all

No she's not ! Anyhoo I went in this morning and voiced my concerns, calmly! ;)

She has now agreed that he can be Father Nature and wear trousers, now comes the hard bit. He needs to look earthy, naturey, godlike and calm, but dressed in white...

So come on all you creative types, ideas are needed. I would've gone with earthy greens and browns, but there you go. I may ask her tomorrow if he can swap white for earthy colours.

P.S Hils, when I told him about bredren nature he loved the idea, he laughed so much I thought he was going to wet himself ;D

How about a kind of toga-type smock, with a headpiece made of twigs etc? You could make the toga thing from a large white belted t shirt, then all he needs is a pair of sandals and some sort of circlet of twigs for his head.. and a large stick for a staff!
If he wanted you could use green/brown eyeshadow to put streaks of colour on his arms & face, and maybe in his hair - it washes out.

Just an idea!

like that katiep would use face paints to make him look camaflagued and tree like maybe make him a belt with some plant like ivy real or plastic

Great ideas but he's allergic to face paints! He had it done at a McDonalds party when he was 3, and the next day everywhere there had been face paint was red and very very swollen, his eyes were so puffed up he couldn't see out of them and he looked like the elephant man :-\

But normal paint may be ok, so thats worth a go, thanks Katie and Michelle :)

How about a hippy look kind of in a bare foot baggy linen type combats with a ying yang or peace sign top & John Lennon round shades?

Think of the bloke on the powergen adverts - he has that tunic with a modern wind farm appliqued on it.
Can I make his outfit for him? I love doing stuff like this. I'll get the sewing machine out!
Seriously if you do get stuck I will happily do a top for him & post it through. I adore doing stuff like this.

You could tog him out in white but make a cape - like Harry Potter or a King out of Green camo voile. Or green netting with kind of different natural colour patches over it. It would be really easy to do -even if you're not into sewing. With a mesh or Voile cape you can still see the white through it. You could do a hood big enough that when he's not speaking he could pull the hood right over his head & face & wrap it round him - to blend in with the scenery as''mother nature is supposed to do.

That's a great idea. Arun has become very interested in John Lennon lately (I wonder where he got that from? *ahem*). John spent a lot of time dressed in white doing his thing for peace and all that.
