My piggies cardboard addiction

So my guinea pig rico is upsest with chewing cardboard ive tried different types of willow sticks everything but he loves cardboard i give him in toilet paper rolls and he gets board of them but i have a little feeding box were i feed my two boys as rocky will steal ricos food and rico wont take it back but since hes so in love with cardboard he spends his time eating the box rather than eating his veggies. Is cardboard safe for him to chew on or should i stop using it to feed them in, i do also feed them in there cage but like its unfair that rocky can take ricos food (btw the pic is of rico performing his little trick his trained to do )20180929_191222.webp

O i was told the dye in it can make them really ill the cardboard he likes is blue so does that still apply like he can much on it if he wants and thanks hes a performer
 
Watch out for toilet roll tubes that have glue on. Ive given them by mistake before to my gerbils and no harm done but you never know with guinea pigs. Gerbils only shred it but guineas eat it lol
 
My girls love cardboard, it is safe :) they also like eating fleece, puppy pads, their wooden hidey house, tissues....basically anything they shouldn't 😂
