My gorgeous Splat has gone to join Pudding...

Words honestly cannot describe how I feel right now. As soon as my sis said mum wanted to talk to me on Skype I knew you'd gone. It seems you suffered the same fate as your brother which, whilst we knew it was coming and coming soon, I didn't expect you to leave us quite so soon after Pudding. Part of me wants to think that you knew and wanted to join him but I really don't know.

You'd spent the last few months hobbling around the garden quite well and luckily never showed any signs of pain. The vet thinks that you and your brother had nerve issues and the feeling slowly went; which was a blessing in disguise for you both... you couldn't feel any pain in your legs.

Sleep well my beautiful baby girl. Mummy loves you more than you know. Now you can finally join your too soon departed mummy, daddy and siblings. I'm sure you're all having a whale of a time together munching grass and binkying. One day I'm sure I'll see you all again...

:( aww i know how much you wanted Splat to hang on until you could say goodbye but at least now Splat is pain free and having lots of fun at the bridge with all of her family!

Rest in peace little one, big hugs to you x
 
I am so sorry that you have lost both girls now and that you couldn't be there when Splat left. They would have known how much they were loved, anyway.

RIP Splat - popcorn with Pudding!

So sorry to hear that, something similar happened with my rabbits one sadly died and then her friend just couldn't live without her and died a couple of days after.
Its so sad to lose 2 beloved pets so close together.
RIP Splat together again with Pudding x

So so sorry for your loss. Dear little Splat will join her others....and popcorn at The Bridge and wait (hopefully for a long time) for her 'slave' to join her...
Thinking of you, we have all been there and can sympathise. You were a good mummy and did your best, that's all you could do.
