Pumpkin and Moss, little munchkins. I love them so much 🥰

Pumpkin was a sleepy bub this morning ❤️ He was curled up inside the pumpkin hide when I woke up and Moss was laying in the toadstool, but they since swapped. Moss is currently in the hay box with his floofy back end poking out, classic Moss

My Hay Box order got delivered last night so the boys are going to be trying some new hay today 🥰
I took them off of fresh fruit (the only fruit they get is bell pepper and very, very occasionally a blueberry) and veg for a bit while they were still taking their Co-trimoxazole because the antibiotics gave them soft stool and I didn't want the veg to make it worse. Not sure if that was the right call, they certainly wouldn't agree because how dare I say no delicious veggies. It's since gone back to normal so I've been reintroducing the fresh stuff a little bit at a time. Today they're also going to be getting a whole Romaine lettuce leaf each instead of just half like yesterday, and some red bell pepper, their favourite 🩷

Spent about 1.5/2 hours doing a full clean of the cage and putting on a load of washing because their favourite tunnels were a mess. Added in a carrot cottage that I bought on my way home from work. The boys spent ages chewing on it together and have been taking turns getting up on their hind legs to nibble at the roof. So I think it's safe to say they approve 🥰

Been weighing the little munchkins daily, since they've both been having smelly poops :/ luckily neither is losing weight, and Pumpkin is now 911 grams/2 lbs! He feels and looks like a healthy size. Moss is smaller, about 836 grams/1 pound 13 ounces, a tiny bub. He doesn't look quite so small with all that fluff, bless I'm hoping that I can get him to put on a little bit of weight as he feels maybe a little smaller than ideal, but not worryingly so. Hopefully having just hay and a small amount of pellets (and a pea flake or two) will settle their tummies.

Pumpkin has such big sad eyes but he's just been doing zoomies and popcorning. I have so many more photos of him than of Moss at the moment because Moss keeps running off and jumping into a hide or the hay cube. A few minutes ago they were both enjoying some hay and Moss is doing tiny popcorns when Pumpkin isn't rumbling and tossing his head at him for eating his hay. Now Pumpkin has run off to get some water and eat some hay elsewhere, leaving Moss temporary king of the hay box.

I felt so bad this morning because when I was holding Pumpkin after weighing him he sneezed and sneezed again. Once I put him back in the pumpkin house he did a few more sneezes and kept pawing at his nose too and making sniffing noises. Poor guy must have got a noseful of hay dust, not fun </3 He stopped after a little bit so hopefully he was able to clear whatever was in his nose, but I put a bowl of boiling water next to the cage just in case there was still something stuck. Haven't noticed anything like that happen again so that's good.
