Most placid breed/type of guinea pig?

Okay, just for fun and yes of course each and every guinea pig is different.... :)

Over the years I have had the pleasure to deal with numerous guineas of many differrent types and breeds. Hubby and I have always considered Peruvians and Lilac's to generally be among the most laid back and placid of piggies.

Of course we will all have differrent experiences, but what do you think is the most chilled out, laid back breed/type of guinea pig?

I think our Angel is a sheltie,ive never seen a pig so laid back and horizontal
 
Grace who is a peruvian is totally laid back and will sit on my knee for ages being stroked, she's more like a fluffy cat than a piggy :)
 
My peruvians are totally chilled ladies - they didn't even flinch when I knocked the broom over earlier! All my piggys have always ended up tame - some have taken longer to tame than others - but I do think my peruvians are the most laid back I have ever owned.

Meeka (RIP pretty girl) was a abby cross and she mellowed and became very friendly as she got older but was very up tight as a youngster and hated to be handled.
 
I've found rexes and cresteds to be the most laid back. On the other hand, every aby I've ever owned or come across has been wired to the moon!
 
I think himis are so laid back they are horizontal, or is it just my Chester? ;D
 
All I can say is that all the Abys I've known (including current madam Kaylee!) are bonkers! And rather skittish :D

I agree with what everyone says about aby and Aby types, what great feisty little monkeys they are...and most definately the most intelligent of guinea pigs?

My Riffy is the calmest, most gentle, kind and thoughtful guinea ever - a black satin.

Scarby (half Abi/ Peruvian is hysterical , as is Rocky (mostly Peruvian).

Doctor (golden agouti) was very elegant, bouncy and confident.
 
I used to have a gorgeous American Crested called Jasper.
This is how laid back he was....

He would sit for hours, silly billy, he used to love lying on his back and having his tummy tickled.
