Dear Miss Bramble,
We hope you had a nice holiday.
Now that you’re home again we wonder if you could help us.
We would really like Daddy Slave to give us our midday snack all the time, not just when our slave abandons us for the day.
He gives us twice as much coriander as she does which we like very much and we want this to happen every day.
How do we go about explaining this to our slave.
Thank you,
Moses and Miriam

Dear Moses and Miriam

This is a tricky one. The Slaves that feed us all the time tend to be very difficult to train as we want them to be trained whereas the temporary Slaves are much easier to bend to our will. This is because the Main Slave has become hardened to our wheeks for food and can ignore us easier than temporary Slaves.

You need to up the wheeking factor when Mummy Slave gives you a stingy amount of coriander. Look her straight in the eye and explain in no uncertain terms that the coriander delivery is deficient. If this doesn't work, give her the silent treatment and turn your back on her. When Daddy Slave comes in to see you (as Main Slave is clearly worried about you) act all excited to see him and zoom and popcorn around your cage and wheek excitedly whilst doing so. Daddy Slave will be so relieved that there is nothing wrong with you that he'll give you your double helping of coriander. Mummy Slave will see that you're so happy with the service provided by Daddy Slave that she'll let him give your lunchtime coriander.

Your friend in a crisis

A milestone today - Miriam took a piece of apple from my hand 😊
She’s been taking a lettuce leaf from me provided my arm is stretched out and she can grab the end.
Moses was asleep under the hay but he did wake up when he realised there was food.

It’s so lovely where they will take food from your hand (even if they grab it and run)
