Monty's leg is bleeding

I'm so sorry, poor baby, I hope he pulls through. You've done everything you could to help him, please be kind to yourself whatever the outcome is. ❤️

I’m so sad to hear that. Take care of yourself
He was clearly a very loved piggy and living his best life with you and Milo
Popcorn freely at RB lovely Monty

I'm so sorry for your loss x
I've lost two of my older pigs in the past couple of weeks as floofy Louise (5) followed gentle George (6) over the bridge. They died for different reasons but in both cases the chewing (of syringe food) slowed, became more intermittent, and then just stopped. At that point it was really just keeping them warm, comfortable, and as pain free as possible as they passed. I've syringed piggies before who have not eaten by themselves but once the food went in they'd chewed and swallowed. This was quite different. The 'waiting' part was very painful for me as an owner, even though it was only a day or two from my point of view (the physical process had probably started a bit earlier). They're pain-free now. We know how it feels to lose a beloved piggy. Spend some time together with your remaining boy and you will help each other. My poor Flora was very quiet for a few days but we've got to know each other a little more in that time 💕

Thank you, I am so sorry for your loss of Louise and George.
I wish I had left Monty on Sunday morning to pass in his cage instead of trying to syringe feed and taking him to the veterinary hospital, I'm sure he was trying to tell me he was ready to go. x

You were doing your best for him, he will know that.
Your choices were made from a place of love and care for him, meaning there is not really a right or wrong ❤️

Aw, so sorry you've lost Monty. He will have known you were doign your best for him. RIP little guy, over the Rainbow Bridge 🌈❤️
