I used to use boiling water to sterilise bottles but I tried some Milton today. I left them to soak, then rinsed thoroughly with water. Is that Ok or should I have used washing up liquid?

Thanks.

I help at a rabbit rescue and she does the same. She puts them all in Milton to clean them then just rinses them and then puts on the cage, so think you will be fine:)):))

I use it as per the instructions (I think I put one tablet in a sink full of water), then I rinse them in plain tap water before filling them (because I don't like them smelling of 'bleach' )

I do all of mine every weekend

I use supermarket own brand, cheaper than Milton. Use as per instructions on bottle and then rinse thoroughly.

:) I also use liquid Milton, but use supermarket own brand. I use it for lots of other things as well as the guineas bottles:).

Milton's fine :)

We used that when i was on work experience and bottle feeding 40 lambs with 4 bottles each a day. Lol.

I think the bottle cleaners are good too.

Yes Milton is fine, or a cheaper equivalent.
I soak the bottles and the tops and then use the bottle brush on both ... they come out squeaky clean! :)
