Honestly, it was not smart for long, there is hay everywhere because my boys like to swim in their hay apparently

I struggled with that as well, cleaning up was time-consuming and my allergies went crazy due to the dust I was kicking up! I use a plastic litter box myself, I have seen others use cardboard boxes for hay. It works well, easier to clean and, in my case, I can breathe again!

Otherwise I love the setup too, it’s really nice

I love that I work right next to the boys, they have kept me sane through all the meetings during the 9-5 and all the coursework at night, however when they start being this cute and adventurous, I struggle to focus on what I’m meant to be doing

I often wish my work space was in the piggy room! I think it would really add to my day and brighten it. Not that the dogs don’t but some cute piggies would be a nice change!

Weekly weighing:

Kuzco - 409g
Kronk - 475g

Both have gained 25g and Kuzco had finally joined Kronk in the 400 club and both boys are now climbers (Kuzco has been trying to climb where Kronk can climb for a week so we are very proud )

I love that Kronk trusts us enough to just sleep in plain sight with his eyes closed, even if he does get annoyed when his dad sneezes... many the brrs

So the last week has just been so very busy so I wasn’t able to post this yesterday but we have now had Kronk and Kuzco (lovingly referred to as Rumble and Squeak) for a month now and it feels a lot longer! We are so happy with how far they have come and how relaxed they are around us now and we cannot wait to spend many more nights just watching them get up to mischief together

(We do not have a favourite child it’s just unfortunately one of our boys is a little bit camera shy so we have loads of photos of Kronkers and very few of Kuzco )

We had loads of fun during lap time time today, mum and dad have finally worked out how to make us feel safe, we had our favourite tunnel to hide in when we got a little scared and our dinner to nibble on, having this space made us feel brave enough to use mother as a climbing frame and do zoomies on her... she has quite a few scratches on her arm now though, but we also felt brave enough to lick them better ~ love from Kuzco and Kronk

I haven’t posted about the boys in a while, so I thought I’d share something that made me happy today, our boys are little climbers and always have been but they have never been great at sharing… today for the first time both of them enjoyed each other company on top of the carrot cottage and Kronk didn’t once even try to kick Kuzco off

We were away from our babies for a whole weekend for the first time in the almost 7 months we’ve had them, as lovely as the holiday was, we hated being away from them and were constantly contacting my OHs mum (who was checking up on and feeding them) constantly We got home to them popcorning and zooming around, happy to see us, which just made us so happy because at least they like us Safe to say it will be a while before we leave them again but I thought I’d share the photos that got us through our time away… notice a pancaked Kronk with a lil poop right by his nose… so proud

I swear he’s okay… he was obviously very comfortable…

Nearly a year since the last update. Boys were out and about today, they have the whole sofa to explore and they could easily split up but nope, we have to sit on mummy and they always need to be together I can’t complain because I love how trusting they are now but wow they are so much bigger than they used to be and as I’m sure you’ll be able to notice I was essentially used as a toilet
