Kale

Hey everyone

Does anyone know how to feed pigs curly kale?
My pigs seem to love it. And there is some growing in my garden.

Kale… mine love the stuff! I give it them straight out the packet, worth giving it a wash

Don't give then too much. Curly kale can be fed in small quantities but it is one of the worst for giving guinea pigs bloat.

I'm afraid mine love anything from the cabbage family. Last year I had a purple sprouting broccoli plant growing in my garden so I used to cut off a small bit for them - at least the rest stayed fresh as it was still on the plant - rather than some of the specimens left in my fridge.

oh dear I'm afraid mine love it too and although they only have a small amount I do give it regularly as they look round the cage for it and go huffy if its not in the veg pile

That's what my lot are like with spinach and pak choy

Currently mine are going mental over the lavender plant in the garden… They are slowly destroying it when my back is turned!

After seeing replies on my post about Calcium, Iv'e decided to cut the amount of Kale (& Spinach that I give my lot) I was giving them both twice a day but will now give them one or the other maybe twice a week.

Mine love it too , coriander, spinach, not too keen on cabbage tho. Seem to be ok with it tho no gas as yet. I wash it give it them mixed up with other greens x
