Just made my first correx tray........

Can you not salvage it? i think my husband did that once but we managed to salvage it and re-use it.

Best of luck! I had to resize one of my correx trays for the same reason - just a touch to big to fit in comfortably; resizing is not so difficult when it's just a little bit too big. Are you using glue or duct tape?

Duct tape - I've already got plenty of it so just used what I'd got in stock. Will probably use glue to attach the carpet to the ramp though. Just off to do that now |)
