Just Been To My First Guinea Pig Show

We visited the Epsom Cavy Club Guinea Pig Show this morning, I have never seen so many piggies in one place at one time! What an experience and watching them judge them was so interesting. I could never be a judge, I just think all little piggies are gorgeous! My daughter was trying to convince me to buy a harlequin guinea pig that was for sale, thankfully I managed to get out without bringing home a new friend! We are keen to enter one of our own piggies next time, just for the experience.
 
aggh, I could never go to anything that had them for sale, I would end up them all! *runs away screaming* My boss keeps calling me the cat lady, because I keep threatening to have more cats - and says I will end up a lonely old woman with 1000s of cats, guinea pigs and dogs, although, we are level pegging on dogs, and she has more guinea pigs than me - she got her last two from Derby Country Show.......
 
I also couldn't go too one!

I would want all the guinea pigs for sale! And I definitely don't have room for more than my two!
 
Oops! Sorry! Well I was only looking today! Never seen a show before. We would love an Abyssinian, good job there weren't any nice ones of those for sale, we would have definitely have added to our numbers then! I really like the fluffy teddies and breeds similar and Peruvians, oh and the crested ones! It was so interesting to see all the different breeds in one place. I just love all the guinea pigs though, I would have them all if I could!

The owners wouldn't be too chuffed with all the pignappings going on though... :))
 
Not sure how many I could fit in the car but my hubby's got a van, I don't think he's lend it to me though if he knew I was going to fill it with guinea pigs!
 
I have to go to country shows, it is part of my job, working for a land based training provider, we do a lot of promotions there. I don't necessarily agree with showing animals, especially small ones.
