I've been having a lot of problems with Daphne and Joan lately, since returning from the vets Joan has been bullying Daphne and basically making her life miserable, I'm at a loss at what to do but have ordered another cage in case they need separating ( even though I don't really have enough space for another cage in my bedroom 😬). Poor old Daphne is scared even to come out of bed or get her dinner, I feel sorry for her.

Hi! It is good that you are separating. Piggies can decide that they do not longer want to live with another piggy. You should see whether you have made the right decision if Daphne suddenly perks up a lot when away from Joan.

Took Dennis and Daphne to the vets today, the vet measured the lumps and said just to keep an eye on them, and only take them back if there's any change. Daphne was very nervous but well behaved, Dennis however screamed the entire time and bit my sister ! Anyway they're back home now and enjoying some spinach .

My Dennis hates the nasty vet man too! So much so that I now don't take him as a vet buddy. He will tolerate Rachel the nice vet lady but he's still not keen.
 
Turned out I didn't have to separate Joan and Daphne after all, things settled down (after I bought a new cage😳) and now they're getting on okay again. I had to take Hillary to the vet on Friday because she had been limping on one of her back legs. She is 7 now and the vet said it could be arthritis and gave her a painkiller and anti inflammatory,but said if that made no difference she would have to have an X-ray, but luckily the medication seems to be working cos she's stopped limping and seems much brighter 😊
