I've just lost my dear Voltti

Thank you @Squeakz for your message, I'm amazed that some of you actually remember me even though I'm a member with few posts, and it makes me glad to know that Voltti is remembered and missed by many. Voltti really was a special boy, and with Ampeeri he made the original electro piggie squad. It is so sad that both of them are now gone.

@Merab's Slave and @Lucyy82 thank you so much for your kind messages. Voltti really was such a handsome piggie, I'm lucky to have lots of lovely pictures of him.

I know what you mean and I can sympathise. Years ago when I had my Rainbow Piggies Lenny and Gizmo when Lenny passed over to the Bridge it was not nice it just being Gizzy. Gizmo would not accept any other piggy and lived another 6 months on his lonesome onesome.
 
@Betsy it's like everything underlines something is horribly wrong: only one piggie greeting me, I have to remember to cut only half a portion of vegetables, I even miss the double amount of poo to pick!

I'm not looking forward to the day that one of my lot gets the call to the Rainbow Bridge but as they are only 2 years old hopefully that is a long way off yet.
 
@Betsy I understand, let's hope the call doesn't come for years! I just feel I'm being caught off guard here, Ampeeri passed when he was only less than 2,5 years old, and now Voltti at under 3,5 years old. Especially after Ampeeri passing so young, I excpected and hoped to see Voltti age into an old gentleman. And now he too has passed way too early :soz:

I was browsing through old pictures yesterday and came across this one. I believe this is the first picture of me and Voltti together, just days after he came to us. Voltti would be a little over three months old I think. This is one of my favourite pictures, Voltti has such a cute pose and goodness he is tiny!

So sorry for your loss. I understand what your feeling completely. Seeing your photos and reading your post broke my heart all over again. I lost my piggy Fred last week in the same way and they even looked very similar.
Maybe they will meet at the rainbow bridge and popcorn free together.
