I've posted before about Barlo's snuffles. He had a clear 2 weeks and has sounded awful again for the past 2 days.

The two vets suspected an allergy, the vet today said I could try giving him a very small dose of children's piriton when he's snuffly. Is it safe? Has anyone tried it before?

I have used it before, and it does help. Did your vet suggest a dose?

I tend to dose at 0.2ml twice a day so is the same as the vet's recommendation, if she means once a day? If he is that small though, try the lower dose and see.

Yes she did mean once a day, thank you, will give it a go next time he's snuffly - he's absolutely fine at the moment.
