Is everyone using foraging blends this is new to me . And isn’t it going backwards and encouraging selective feeding ?

I think it's important to establish the difference between pellets/museli mixes and forage.
Forage is a blend of dried leaves/herbs etc. which people give occasionally as a healthy treat.
Pellets and museli are what's traditionally seen as 'guinea pig food'. I don't think many people feed museli mixes, and people who feed pellets only feed a tiny amount per piggy, e.g. a maximum of one tablespoon per day.
Lots of people don't feed pellets or museli mixes at all.

Giving a forage mix and selective feeding are two totally different things.
A forage is dried leaves and flowers. It is given as an enhancement to the hay based diet. Everything is healthy, they search through it but tend to eat it all if you are providing things they like.
It mimics the natural way they search and eat through grasses and leaves.
In human terms it would be like giving a plate of salad leaves, cucumber, fruit.
It is totally different to selective feeding. Selective feeding is when they are fed muesli mixes (which are not recommended) and they then pick out the bits they like. The problem with this is that the ingredients used cause them to pick out the sweetest and therefore unhealthiest bits of what is already pretty unhealthy.
In human terms it would be like giving a plate of chocolate and biscuits

Right okay hey I love that ,that is really great information , I don’t give many pellets just a tablespoon a day in the morning but that’s interesting some have chamomile They shouldn’t have that everyday I thought or dandelion every day if? I’m pretty strict with food no peas no funky treats
I give a variety of dried and fresh forage (dried in winter. Summer they get fresh mostly (plus being on the lawn all day grazing) and still some dried).
I give several items in rotation just for variety really
