I stayed up for the initial singing but went to bed by 10.30 to let all the voting happen then just see who won this morning.
Though I was woken at 2am by what seemed like a weird flashback to Germany's metal band performance- it was Blodwen snoring most wheezily, really very similar to that German chap's vocals lol!

Son picked Germany as his favourite to win... he's inherited my 'Grand National' gene. I liked it too - Sweden was a great vocal but I was really hoping for Cha-Cha-Cha to win so I stayed up. I thought that Italian lad sang his heart out too. It was such a strong field that even the songs coming on last were good.

Hubs couldn't get over the sets. Apparently they had 40 seconds between acts: 20 to remove one set and 20 to bring on the next. Nightmare!

I really liked moldovas entry and serbias and quite liked Germanys entry too.I thought the UK's song was very catchy,can't believe we came second to last.I can see why Sweden won,the song is very good and she sang it extremely well live.I'm glad Finland were second as that's a really good song too.
