Introducing Male Pigs

Ah OK, that's really good to know! Still, I how it settles down soon. But I'm pretty sure if they wanted to bite each other they'd have done it by now, right?

Your two boys are fine! They are simply still working on the fine print of their relationship, i.e. how far Dom can push Tubby around and how far Tubby allows himself to be pushed (the latter is typically a sign that the dominance phase is entering the later stages). The submission screaming is typical and it is telling the dominant piggy where the boundaries are.

This was a good read! Best wishes for Parsnip and Dapple's friendship! And @Wiebke you've done a great job explaining on each step, I've also learnt much from the post! Hope there will be updates about the piggies soon, cheers!:))

I agree, @Wiebke has explained everything so well! The pigs are much quieter again today, sharing a hidey and seeming quite content. I've got to clean out the cage so I'm going to try the hay filled box idea to get Dapple out without frightening him. Do I just cut a hole a a show box, fill it with hay and then pick it up when he goes inside?

Just cut out one small side and put the lid back - that makes a lovely hidey to sneak into!

Thank you! I tried it and it worked very well for Parsnip, but Dapple didn't want to leave his paper bag, so I carefully lifted him up inside there. They're both currently sitting on my lap and seem quite happy! Dapple shivers when I stroke him - does this mean he's pleased?

Also, I've attached a picture of two happy piggies! image.webp

@Davey-cavy - your help is needed!

Shivering is fear, but Dapple will hopefully learn from Parsnip that there is nothing to fear. ;)

Sorry, I managed to delete the picture by accident. *Hangs head in shame* - there is a good reason why I am not an admin!
It's ok you can save it from my post and just insert it into the original post. I don't have the power to edit post in this section or I would do it. Maybe Lee @sport_billy can help?

@Davey-cavy , Your picture was also broken when I last posted but it is visible now, so I just leave it as it is.
