Insight on adopting/fostering an 'aggressive' male

It's been about a month...so he recovered from gut stasis just fine. He has been taking metacam every day and his behavior is much better. He now only bites if he is cornered in his hide, which he has 'always' done. He no longer bites consistently and hard like he's been doing. He hasn't drawn blood from me for quite a while. He seems to be acting a lot more like a normal guinea pig and is no longer a devilish little biter!
 
Oh good! He is learning that you're not a threat. You're doing an amazing job. So glad he's over the gut stasis.
