"the pannels are removable so i take them off in the morning and put them back on when i feed them in the evening."
Think this is the hutch Clare 'fox proofed'
:(|)

i should be a professional fox proofer... :))
have you seen the runs that i fox proofed...?... :))
my garden looks a right state...!

i need to see pics of the runs clare lol i'm a bodge jobber too, least we can say we try our best haha

Doh! Now I'm confused, I've just bought a 4ft outdoor hutch and a 120 indoor cage for my two 1 year old boars, have a wasted my money?

what was your plans? mine were to bring them in at night to go in my plastic cage, then go out in their outdoor hutch in the day but been told thats not a good idea. so i've done away with plastic one as was too small anyway. And my 4foot hutch is in my lounge.. (oh is going to go mad LOL but sod it) and as they're only 5weeks next week i'll keep them in, and maybe when summer comes they can go outside in their hutch :...:...

haha...
i'll dig them out...
i may also send you in to a state of awe with my water proofing of the runs aswell... :))

fox proofing my runs includes chicken wire... tent pegs and strategicly placing the bits of my brick wall that has fell off on to the wire... :))

fine example of my strategicly placed broken brick wall...

No hun, older piggies are fine outside in the warmer weather. The OP's piggies are only 5 weeks so too young to be out atm.
It's good you have a cage for indoors too for the cooler periods :))

My plan was to bring them inside in Winter and on cold nights? But reading this I'm not sure now. do I sell my brand new hutch or do I sell my brand new cage?

haha your funny! mines similar except in middle of my grass is a 10foot sand pit covered in tarpauline and bricks and foam numbers ( i dunno why but the numbers was good idea at time lol) it did have a pool there but i chucked it and then thought oh... i'll just cover it and maybe something will reappear?

such an eye sore its funny. But everything in my house and garden is there for a reason.. a reason only i know :)):))

keep both...
they will be fine outside in the summer... over night aswell... and once the weather turns you can keep them inside...
its always a good idea to have two places to house them just incase one needs to have medical treatment or they need seperating for some reason....

what size indoor cage would i need then? just so i can have little look

i doubt anything could be more of an eye sore than my shed... :))
it takes up msot of my garden... :))
you can see it from the top of the street.. haha...

i'd love to have a sand pit for my little boy... but theres way too many cats round here...

obviously the foam numbers are decoration... a bit of exterior design...?

haha... well magicians do it...!.... :))

I'm the same... except i swear i dont even know why i own half the cr*p i own... :))

Ebay have some bargains or try your local newspapers etc.
Just a sample of what you can find -

Always give anything used previously a really good clean (never be afraid to ask if a pet has passed from anything contagious beforehand)
F10 disinfectant is recommended and a 100ml bottle will last ages (dilute 2mls into 1 litre of water for sanitising things) I use it in a spray bottle :))
