I’m struggling to find a companion for Geoff

Aw that’s such brilliant news! Glad the rescue have been such a good support. So pleased Geoff and Freddy have each other now
 
Another update - I'm collecting Geoff and Freddy on Saturday
I’m really excited to bring them both home
I’ve finished the deep clean and sorting the c&c out ready 🥰

@Lorcan does Bann have a different diet to Mourne ? I know you’re careful with veggies … Wood Green doesn’t give their guinea pigs lettuce or green beans but gives Freddy Burgess Excel pellets

Nope, they both eat the same stuff (except Mourne doesn't like green beans, kale and greens very much, lol). Cam's diet was only limited because it upset his stomach too much. The only difference is Bann gets a little more food because of his metabolism.

Thank you Lorcan that’s good to know - I did realise Freddy would need extra to keep him warm
 
The boys are doing really well - Freddy doesn’t run away if I go past now but he does when I lift the lid to their cage
He’s much quicker coming out for food - he’s fitted in with Geoff's routine really well 🥰
He adores pepper and cucumber and coriander

Is he totally bald or does he have a layer of down like a hairless cat?

They look great together!

Skinnies don't have a layer of down - they're not totally hairless, they've often got a little fur on the nose and around their feet, but how much of it they have can vary. Bann has obvious gold/brown fur on each foot and a thick patch of black fur on his nose. Cam had nothing on his feet and only a few wispy white hairs you had to hunt down to see on his nose.

Freddy has no fur on his body or feet but like Cam has some wispy white hairs on his nose - he has a cute black ear and it’s like he’s been sprayed with black paint over his face and neck on the left side 🥰

Hello Freddy it’s lovely to know another piggy with my name 🥰- I’m liking living in my new home - I was a bit lonely at the rescue so when I met Geoff it was great ! Sometimes Geoff says I’m his annoying little brother and he naps much more than me 😂
I’ve discovered I love coriander and pepper yum yum - wheek wheek Freddy and Geoff says hello
