I'm confused...:P I wasn't concentrating on the hacking side, more so the side that DrizzlesPiggies IP address could have been the same as Kimmies?

newpiggies - a troll is basically someone who deliberately tries to start arguments, annoy or upset people and generally just be really eugh. :P

hoorah! i'm glad she's gone. She upset alot of people and that's not fair! I can't believe some people have nothing better to do than be a troll..get a life ::)
 
I didn't know what was technically meant by a troll either - guessed it wasn't very flattering though! Good decision.
 
I'm on AOL and saw something on Wilkepedia and was going to edit something, but I got told I couldn't edit it with signing up as my ISP was banned for doing something which was strange ?

So I had to sign up to edit this article.

I said that for a reason you know.

Let me put this straight...

When we ban a member you can either ban Username, IP Address, Hostname or Email Address. Because I know that DrizzlePiggies is a member of this forum, I only banned the Username. This means that any member that tried logging in as DrizzlePiggies would have got the ban message.

Yes - You would need to know the password too as when you log in with username AND password, the ban message would show. The ban message would NOT show if you did not know the password.

I think that DP was either a troll or a virus because now whenever I try to log in on my computer it says "sorry DrizzlesPiggies, but you have been banned from the forum." Even though I type in KimmiesGuineas and my password! I'm using my brother's computer now. I just don't understand why I was the one that got hacked :-\ Hopefully we can fix it somehow.

Now I am completely baffled. Have I got this right? Drizzlepiggies is someone else on this forum and hacked into Kimmiesguineas account? How could that happen? or have I got it completely wrong? :(
 
No :'( Ellie thinks that I'm DrizzlesPiggies. My brother wouldn't do it, nor would I. I don't know what I can say.
I guess bye to everybody because I can't use my brother's computer all of the time.
I'll start another thread with my information if anyone wants to contact me or needs advice.
I don't know what happened but please everybody be careful when somebody comes on. You don't know what they can do.

Kimmie, as I have explained to you, it is NOT possible for someone to receive that ban message unless they log in with DrizzlePiggies username and password. I noticed yesterday that YOUR Ip address matched DrizzlePiggies. You logged out of KimmiesGuineas and then into DrizzlesPiggies.
 
I don't know what happened or who did it, but there would be no benefit to me logging in and ruffling feathers. However, if you feel that way then I'll leave. I'm sorry this happened everyone :'(
