Well it's arrived. But me and my mum are not good at diy and so we actually can't put the roof on because the sides are on backwards. But I think it looks cool like this :) Two happy piggies :)DSC01036.webp DSC01038.webp

That looks great, I would put a bit more hay in, it's that big that they have space to burrow in it.

Ah ok, i'm still learning about piggies. I will do that. i'm also looking for ideas on making the cage more enriching for them.

Looks fab, mine love a big pile of hay to hide & play in (and sleep in)
I also use cardboard boxes as hideys for them, sometimes stuffed with hay :)

Do you have two of everything such as bottles, food bowls and hideys? I did not realise the cage was finished. I would put fleece on top of the pads to make it more cosy for the boys.

Cozies, tunnels, loo rolls stuffed with hay (but cut down the middle so they don't get stuck), massive piles of hay (of all varieties) and something nice for them to walk on, I would go for fleece or vetbed but you could use a substrate like Fitch.

I can easily get two of everything :) I am currently working on making the cage more cosy :) I will post a photo one properly finished x

Ooohh I have vetbed .. great! :)

That's great, the puppy pads will work well with it to wick away the wee.

Looks good so far.

Along with what others have said, I would but in some hidey holes like pigloos etc.

Looking forward to seeing it once you've finished it :)

Looking good! I have that cage (well, similar, mine is the liberta retreat xl) for one of my bunnies! I love it without the roof though! We've put under bed storage boxes under his cage for food & cleaning supplies. For the extra level, I got some correx from b&q (although I actually put that level in the piggie cage as the dimensions were the same, the hole was too small for my bun to use the ladder). It looked fab & the correx was easy to cut & score. Shame they never used it!:roll:

Would love to see some more photos once you've kitted it out with tunnels & hides! I love looking at cage setups xx
