Happy birthday. It’s a shame when holidays are rained on. 😢

It’s been ok in Krakow and Zakopane. Yes there has been some rain but it’s been dry too. It’s not ruined our stay.

The museums and culture are still as fantastic.

Hope all in affected areas are safe! It’s a rough storm but should be over soon, fingers crossed.

I'm really sorry that your trip to Vienna happened at the worst possible time. I hope that you can still enjoy it.

Thank you, in Vienna it isn't as bad as in some surrounding areas where all hell broke loose after soooo much rain. It's said to be the worst flooding in more than a hundert years.
In Vienna, we have got very good safety meassures in case of flooding but it's still very sad how many wild animals' lives the massive flooding will cost.
And in some areas people will loose everything.
So yes, it's a hard and sad time even when you're sitting in a warm dry flat on safety like I am.
